Meet the time travellers

The Band

Five lads, a lifetime of records between them, and an absolute refusal to play anything written after 1969. These are the guys who fire up the flux capacitor every show.

Gaz

Gaz

Vocals · Rhythm Guitar

Gaz drove his mum and dad potty as a lad, spinning 45s on the radiogram - and never looked back. A lifelong Mod and scooter fan, he’s spent a lifetime collecting the records, and the guitars, of his ‘60s heroes from The Who and The Kinks to the Stones.

On stage: Rickenbacker 330 Fireglo and a John Lennon Epiphone Casino through a classic Vox AC30.

Danny

Danny

Vocals · Lead Guitar · Keys · Harmonica

Hooked on ‘60s music as a small child spinning his parents’ vinyl, Danny had a guitar in hand by 10, chasing the sounds of The Beatles, the Stones and Hendrix. He formed his first band at 16 and hasn’t stopped playing live since - picking up piano, bass, harmonica and mandolin along the way.

On stage: Fender, Gibson & Epiphone guitars, Vox AC30 and Fender Hot Rod amps, Roland keys.

Steve

Steve

Vocals · Acoustic & Rhythm Guitar · Keys

A late starter raised on Status Quo and Neil Diamond, Steve fell for The Beatles at 15 after watching a school band tear through “Twist and Shout” - and picked up a guitar that same week. These days he switches between guitars and keys, locking in the close-harmony vocals the ‘60s lived on.

On stage: Gretsch Pro Jet, Telecaster, Crafter acoustic, Höfner bass, shakers and Roland keys.

Phil

Phil

Bass · Vocals

Raised on his dad’s ‘60s records - The Beatles, The Searchers, The Kinks and the Stones - Phil fell hardest for Mersey-Beat. He taught himself to play bass left-handed to channel Sir Paul McCartney himself.

On stage: Epiphone Rivoli bass through an Ashdown ABM500 head and Mag 115 cab.

Spencer

Spencer

Drums · Vocals

Starting on pots & pans and then in bands from the age of 13, Spencer kept the beat ever since. Inspired by Ringo, Keith Moon and Hal Blaine, he blends crisp Merseybeat snap, swirling psychedelic grooves and a soulful Motown pocket - out to send the room straight back to the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll.

On stage: Sonor drums and Zildjian Kerope cymbals.
